TOTTENHAM 2-3 ARSENAL

Arsenal successfully navigated a thrilling finale to edge closer to their first Premier League title in two decades, securing a potentially season-defining 3-2 victory against rivals Tottenham.

Entering the match with just a one-point lead over Manchester City, all eyes were on Mikel Arteta's side to see if they could pass yet another significant test. They rose to the occasion, maintaining their position at the top of the table as we head into the final month of the season.

The Gunners got off to a dream start with a Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg own goal giving them the lead after just 15 minutes. Shortly after, Bukayo Saka doubled their advantage, following a penalty shout for a potential foul on Tottenham winger Dejan Kulusevski.

Saka’s classy 27th-minute finish after a slick counter-attack put the visitors in cruise control and when Kai Havertz continued his great form with a 13th goal of the season from another set-piece, the Gunners were in dreamland. Tottenham produced a stirring second-half response after being given a helping hand by their bitter rivals after goalkeeper David Raya chipped a clearance straight to Cristian Romero, who reduced the deficit with 26 minutes left.

When Declan Rice fouled Ben Davies inside the area and Heung-min Son fired home with three minutes left it set up a dramatic finale, but Arsenal held on to claim a crucial win from their 35th league match of the season.

With their sights set on the ultimate prize, Arsenal's pursuit of the Premier League title intensifies as the race enters its thrilling climax.
