Inter's manager, Simone Inzaghi, chose to rest key players such as Lautaro Martinez in their recent Serie A fixture. Nonetheless, they secured a victory against their rivals with a goal from Yann Aurel Bisseck.

With a 16-point lead at the top of Serie A, Inter is well-positioned to secure their 20th Scudetto. This allows them to focus entirely on the Champions League, with ambitions to go further than last season's runners-up finish.
